Hamilton brought Bacardi USA, BASF, CIA, Goldman Sachs & Co., IBM, US Air Force, US Marines, and a portfolio of other enterprises to the company as roster clients to the publication. His focus was on Fortune 500 customer acquisitions, custom integrated media programs, improved operational efficiency, and execution, which led to significant company growth in excess of $30 million dollars during his tenure.

From 2002–2007, Hamilton was the Director of Advertising Sales for The Network Journal (TNJ). During his tenure, he spearheaded TNJ’s “25 Influential Women in Business” and “40 Under Forty” awards recognition programs. Additional, Hamilton created TNJ’s Top Black Lawyers and Top Black Doctors Forums. His client roster there included IBM, FedEx, GE, and Major League Baseball, to name a few.

Hamilton is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Air Force Reserve where he served with honors during tours of duty in England, Germany, Turkey and Panama. He held dual careers both in the aviation and healthcare industries. He was honorably discharged.

Today, Hamilton leadership extends beyond his C-suite at RMG. He contributes to many organizations and charities. Hamilton previously served as a board member for National Association of African American in Human Resources and ScottCare Foundation. He is a member of the Advertising Club of New York, the Financial Communications Society and the National Black MBA Association. Hamilton earned his A.A.S. from the Community College of the Air Force. In 2018, Dr. Accius was recognized as a Gerontological Society of America Fellow, one of Black Enterprise magazine’s 2018 Modern Man of Distinction and a recipient of the Prince George’s County Social Innovation Fund 40 under 40 Award. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences awarded him with the prominent “Sharecare Award” for his groundbreaking work on male family caregivers. The National Academy of Social Insurance recognized him as one of the new generation of social insurance leaders in the country.

Dr. Jean C. Accius has held a variety of board and advisory positions including Justice in Aging, the American Society on Aging, Leadership Maryland, and the American University School of Public Affairs Board of Advisors. Previous Board appointments also include Florida State University Alumni Association, the South Florida Institute on Aging Policy Council and the Editorial Advisory Committee for Generations, the journal for the American Society on Aging.

He is an Executive Leadership Council Fellow and holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality administration and a master’s degree in aging studies from the Claude Pepper Institute at Florida State University, and a Ph.D. in public administration from American University.  Dr. Accius is graduate of the Harvard T.H. Kevin Hicks is a Partner with Blackman and Associates; a franchise consulting firm, which provides franchise advisory and acquisition services for individuals and companies. For the last twenty-five years, Mr. Hicks has been a leading advocate for minority franchising. Mandell L. Crawley is a Managing Director and the Head of Private Wealth Management, a division that exclusively focuses on ultra-high net worth individuals, families and their foundations. In addition to serving those who reside in the U.S., he oversees International Wealth Management, which caters to non-U.S. resident clients. Mandell also has responsibility for Family Office Resources, which offers an expansive suite of highly specialized services to address the complexities of managing affluent wealth, Global Sports and Entertainment, and the Client Development Group. Mandell was Head of National Business Development and Talent Management for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where he led an organization responsible for driving growth across the firm’s industry-leading platform and improving the proficiency of our financial advisors, sales support and branch leadership talent. Earlier in his career, Mandell served as Head of U.S. Fixed Income Sales and Distribution for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s Capital Markets Group. In total, he spent 14 of his 28 years working within Capital Markets in various producing and managerial capacities. Paxton K. Baker is an American businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist, who has served in the entertainment, music, sports and production industries for over 30 years.

Mr. Baker is a minority owner of the Washington Nationals Baseball club and currently serves as chairman of the Washington Nationals Founding Partners Group. He is also a partner in the ownership group of the Washington Kastles World Team Tennis League and a governing Board Member of the Global Sports Summit.

In 2018, Baker launched the Washington, D.C., office of Liquid Soul, the agency behind the marketing and promotion of such blockbuster films as Black Panther and Fast & Furious 6. As Managing Partner, Baker is leading the expansion of the 17-year old company into the political, sports and entertainment arenas.

For 16 years, Mr. Baker served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of CENTRIC (formerly BETJ), BET’s complementary network targeting the African American and multicultural adult. Baker was also President of BET Event Productions, which produced music festivals, award shows, TV specials and concerts throughout the world. He has produced numerous television shows and home videos, and released over 40 DVD and CD titles.

In 2006 he was appointed Chairman of the Viacom Marketing Council, and for more than six years lead over 35 senior marketing and sales executives across all Viacom properties; focusing on training, best practices and strengthening brand partnerships. In 2008 he co-founded the Viacom Programming Council, comprised of senior programmers from MTV and BET Networks, as well as Paramount Pictures.

As the General Manager of CENTRIC, Baker led programming initiatives that won numerous awards, including over 15 Telly Awards, a local Emmy Award, a NAMIC award and a GLAAD special recognition award for “fair and inclusive” programming. Baker also served as the Executive Producer of the Soul Train Music Awards from 2009-2014.

Affiliated with a number of professional, civic and cultural organizations, Mr. Baker is a member of the board of directors for the United States Senate Preservation Trust, Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz, Asia Jazz Festival Organization and Wilberforce University, the nation’s oldest private, historically black university.

In 2006, Mr. Baker was appointed by the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives to serve as a member of The Congressional Award Foundation National Board of Directors, the only official charity of the United States Congress. Shortly thereafter he was elected to serve as Vice Chairman and then Chairman of the Board in 2007 to present.

In 2018, Mr. Baker was elected to join the inaugural Board of Directors for the Trucking Cares Foundation, a non-profit developed under the American Trucking Associations designed to improve the safety, security and sustainability of America’s highways.

Paxton received his Bachelor of the Arts degree from Temple University. He resides in Chevy Chase, Maryland with his wife Rachel and three children.

Bob Marshall is the National Business Development Executive with Wells Fargo Bank for the Small Business Development Group. He is responsible for leading a team of Business Development Leaders across the footprint that is charged with acquiring new customers with sales ranging from $2 - $5 million. Prior to his current role, Mr. Marshall has held several banking management positions including Area Business Banking Manager (for Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C. and Maryland), Community Bank Executive for the Wholesale Banking Group (Wachovia Bank, NA), Corporate Retail Sales & Service Strategy Team Leader, and Corporate Retail Bank Sales Manager. Mr. Marshall joined the bank as a Branch Manager in 1997.

Prior to joining Wachovia Bank, he held the roles of Franchise Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, and Commercial Auditor with ITT Commercial Finance. Mr. Marshall began his career in banking in the Management Development Program at Nat West Bank, NA.

Mr. Marshall graduated from Boston College Carroll School of Management with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Finance and Human Resource Management. He also holds an Executive MBA degree from Queens University's McColl School of Business in Charlotte.

Dr. William F. Pickard, PhD

Dr. William F. Pickard, is Chairman and Founder of GAA Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management, GAA New Ventures, Co-Managing Partner MGM Grand Detroit Casino, CEO of Bearwood Management McDonald’s and co-owner of five black-owned newspapers. Pickard’s 48-year entrepreneurial career began as a McDonald’s franchisee in Detroit, Michigan. Since its founding in 1989, GAA has generated more than $5 billion dollars in sales with eight plants in the U.S. and Canada, and service corporations such as Boeing, Mercedes Benz, Ford, General Motors, Chrysler, Delphi, Johnson Controls, Starbucks, Home Depot and Merck Pharmaceutical.

He has served on numerous business and non-profit boards including Asset Acceptance Capital Corporation, Michigan National Bank, LaSalle Bank, Business Leaders for Michigan, National Urban League, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Black Chamber of Commerce and is a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. In 2001, Pickard was awarded Michiganian of the Year for his business success, civic leadership and philanthropy. Pickard was the first Chairman of the African Development Foundation in 1982, appointed by President Ronald Reagan, and under President George Bush he was appointed to The National Advisory Committee on Trade Policy Negotiations (1990) the Federal Home Loan Bank Board-Indianapolis Bank in Indiana (1991).

Dr. Pickard is also creating a new generation of entrepreneurs with Millionaire Moves – Seven Proven Principles of Entrepreneurship, vision/attitude, opportunity, relationships, talent/skillset, financial, failure and faith. Eugene Mitchell is President and CEO of E. Mitchell Enterprises, LLC, a financial consulting and services firm. He is also the author of the book: Closing the Racial Wealth Gap—7 Untold Rules for Black Prosperity and Legacy!

Prior to starting his own company, Eugene served as the Corporate Vice President and manager of the African-American Market Unit within the Agency Division of New York Life Insurance Company, a unit that he created. For 17 years, he was responsible for developing and executing the company’s national targeted recruiting, sales and marketing campaigns within the African-American community. He also oversaw and supported the development, retention, and promotion of 1,500+ African American Market agents, and 40+ African American managers.

In 2011, Eugene developed and initiated the $50 Billion Empowerment Plan – a 5-year initiative to accumulate $50 billion of in-force life insurance, intended to (1) provide significant family and business protection; (2) transfer future income; and (3) create a strong and sustainable intergenerational wealth stream within African American families, businesses, institutions and organizations. In October 2017, Eugene and his team crossed the $50 billion milestone.

Eugene has been featured in national media and industry publications, including The New York Times, ABC News, and Black Enterprise Magazine. He has been presented with numerous city and state proclamations; he received the “Business Mover and Shaker" award from New Visions in Business Magazine; and the Conference of African American Financial Professionals also awarded him with their Leadership and Excellence Award in 2018.

Maurice A. Jones
President & CEO, LISC

Maurice A. Jones was appointed CEO and President of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) in September of 2016. LISC is one of the country’s largest organizations supporting projects to revitalize communities and catalyze economic opportunity for residents. Prior to joining LISC, Maurice was the Secretary of Commerce and Trade for the Commonwealth of Virginia where his primary job was to utilize Virginia’s assets to solidify its position as the preeminent place to live, work and conduct business.

Maurice previously served as Deputy Secretary for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) from April 2012 through January 2014. As the second most senior official at HUD, Maurice managed the Department's day-to-day operations, the annual operating budget of $40 billion and the agency's 8,900 employees.

Before his appointment at HUD, Maurice was President of Pilot Media, the largest print and digital organization in Hampton Roads, Virginia. He joined Landmark Media Enterprises, owner of Pilot Media, in 2005, serving as Vice President of the Landmark Publishing Group. In 2006, he became the Vice President and General Manager of Pilot Media, and in 2008 he became President and Publisher of The Virginian-Pilot.

Maurice also served as the Commissioner of the Virginia Department of Social Services and Deputy Chief of Staff to then-Virginia Governor Mark R. Warner. Other positions include: Special Assistant to the General Counsel at the U.S. Treasury Department, Legal Counsel to the Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund and Director of the Fund during the Clinton Administration, Associate Attorney at Hunton & Williams in Richmond, Virginia, and Partner at Venture Philanthropy Partners.

Maurice received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hampden-Sydney College and attended Oxford University in England on a Rhodes Scholarship, where he received a Master of Philosophy in International Relations. He later received a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia.

Shani Hosten is Vice President-Multicultural Leadership for African American/Black Strategy & Outreach at AARP. Shani serves as the national voice for AARP’s engagement with African American/Black communities through partnerships with multicultural organizations to drive AARP’s social impact. She develops innovative strategies and AARP offerings that promote brand awareness and community engagement.

Shani joined AARP in January 2016, bringing with her more than 20 years of sales and strategic marketing experience in the pharmaceutical, hospital and consumer packaged goods industries.

J. Alexander Martin was born in Hollis Queens New York. Hollis is a residential neighborhood located in the southeastern section of the New York City borough of Queens. It’s a predominantly African American community with small minority populations of Hispanics and South Asians. For those who are not familiar with locating Hollis, its sandwiched between Jamaica to the west and Queens Village to the east. J. Alexander as we call him, developed a desire for fashion at a young age. In those days, young people in New York defined their urban culture through fashion. Not only did he develop a knack for looking great, but pursued fashion as an entrepreneur. Armed with an evoked confidence, motivated for survival and with a clear sense of direction, he navigated the streets of New York, resisted peer pressure and enticement of pleasurable lifestyles to stay the course and made something for himself; business. J. Alexander served in the United States Navy during Desert Storm. Later attended Fashion Institute of Technology.

Also founded a non-profit organization and a consulting firm. J. Alexander is talented with innate ability to predict future trends in fashion. Armed with industry’s creative knowledge and fashion influence, J. Dr. Charles Corprew is passionate about revolution, not the bloody riots that mar cities and countries, but the opportunities we all have for personal and global transformation.  As an educator for the last twenty years, Charles has worked to change the trajectories of America’s most precious demographics.  He knows one way to do this is by providing the educational skills and life tools necessary to illuminate and catalyze the genius that resides within all of us. It would be the lessons learned from his mentees while teaching at Green Run High School that led him to attain his Ph.D. in Psychological Science from Tulane, where he focused his research on resilient outcomes for boys and men of color.  After a successful tenure as a professor, Charles started his social venture, What's Your Revolution? Mr. Frazier served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of The Executive Leadership Council (ELC) and was an Assistant Vice President at the New York Life Insurance Company. He also served with distinction as a US Navy Supply Corps Officer aboard the Navy Warship USS Clark (FFG-11), achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander, and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for demonstrating outstanding leadership.

Mr. Frazier graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also earned an MBA in Finance and Management from New York University’s Stern School of Business (NYU-Stern). His focus on continuous learning includes achieving the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) professional designation.

Mr. Frazier has been an active participant in numerous community and professional organizations. He has served in a leadership role and/or as a Board Member of the Rutgers Newark Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Newark Regional Business Partnership, Black Business Alliance, NextGen Network (CALIBR Global Leadership Network), Urban Youth Action, Inc., ELC Institute, and the Granville Academy.
